Unusual Ideas

If you are looking for something a little more extreme than ironing underwater you can also join an underwater hockey team.

Or, for the extra brave, you can join an underwater ice hockey team. According to Wikipedia, underwater hockey is also known as Octopush and consists of two teams competing to move a puck across the bottom of a swimming pool into the opposing team’s goal with a hockey stick.

It is usually played underneath an ice rink or frozen pond. Traditional underwater ice hockey is reserved for freedivers (diving without equipment) but scuba diving lessons would definitely help with training for such an extreme activity.

Scuba diving in Datca

Where it is?

Datça is a town located on the south coast of the Datça Peninsula, in south-west Turkey. The closest airport is Milas–Bodrum Airport, from there you got to get to Bodrum and then by ferry to Datca.

Three small
beautiful beaches

Tourism here has developed a lot in the recent years, and many tours can be organised from this place. Datça has three small beautiful beaches (Kumluk, Hastanealti and Taslik) right in the town and many more within easy reach surrounding bays.

Сleanest and
clearest water

One of the worth visiting places nearby - is the ancient city of Knidos, where it is possible to explore ancient ruins around the coast or under the turquise sea. Diving in these cleanest and clearest waters has a lot to offer: wall and cave dive, reef dive, also archaeological sites and in some spots - hundreds of amphora.
